So I have a base SR. ugly stock steelys. Got a set of TRDOR wheels off another member on here. I have always though Bronze/dark gold wheel would look good with my red. So I plastic dipped one to see what it would look like. I dipped the emblem in a graphite color. I think it turned out amazing and will look great on my Taco. Still trying to think if I want to fully commit and paint them. Or dip them all. Whats your thoughts on the color, look and if I should paint or dip?

Looks pretty good. Dip em all and if you decide you don't like it at some point, peel it off!

I'd recommend a darker bronze, like what SCS uses. I think it would make them look a little less quicksand-esque.

Edit: Not my truck, but for reference.

I've always liked bronze wheels, but I just could never get myself personally to run them.

I think they would look better a darker bronze. Unless the pics aren't showing the real color.

Plasti dip is garbage. Get them powder coated.

I'd probably go a little darker bronze - and powder coated. Plastiderp sucks. It'll never last.

I think a little darker bronze would look better, but if you like how they look go for it.

I think they will look pretty good with the red. WD 40 removes plasti dip easy if you change your mind.

I think they look pretty nice.

As others have said, powder coating will last longer, but will also cost more.
That said, I vote for painting them. That way it'll be much less expensive to change, if you aren't satisfied with the color.

Please let us know how it turns out.
