I've been curious as to what y'all use your trucks for. Considering the Tacoma is not a cheap vehicle to buy, I'm assuming most Tacoma owners buy them for a reason. But this always doesn't seem to be the choice as the PO of my truck never took it offroad, or used the bed for anything.

I personally have always wanted a truck and I live a pretty active lifestyle that kinda warranted a truck. I owned a couple modified Audis and was tired of them breaking down, plus I needed a reliable vehicle.

I use mine for towing my boat and getting into remote hunting and fishing places.

I voted commute but I do haul move stuff as needed. Home stuff you know.
But I bought it because I’ve always liked the look and the dependability of them. Plus the kids have grown and I don’t need a famiy rig. I also like the fact that it doesn’t need to be traded often before losing value. I had stopped doing mods with the GMs cause I had to trade them in before losing value.
My truck has been paid for, has value, and owes me nothing.
Also as a bonus I freakin enjoy every minute with it still!!!!

My Taco is my DD/weekend warrior. I also came from a modified Audi (B5S4) and it took a while for the 'what's going to break next' paranoia to subside.

I love those. My friend bought a Nogaro blue B6 6-speed today and it's bringin me back. I'd still have an Audi now if I had the time to take care of it.

    Here's my old B5 A4, with our B7 A4 behind it.

Here's my old 2000 A6 2.7t 6-speed manual. Blew the clutch, the AC didn't work, the heat didn't work, it needed a new thermostat and the tires were super bald. Great car though.

The goal is to eventually build a B5 S4 Nogaro blue with K04s and all the goodies.

Nice. I had a 2000 6 speed with K04s, fueling, larger intercoolers, gutted precats, LWFW, coilovers, and a bunch of other goodies. Put just over 350hp/tq to the wheels. The thing was a beast and a total sleeper.

That's awesome. I really wanted to build my A6, but at the time I was still in high school and it needed so much work before I could even get to making it fast. Even in stock form, these cars are complete sleepers with the 2.7t. Plus they sound awesome, I had turbo whistle for days. Which might have been the K03s self destructing......

I use mine for the daily driving, wanted something that would last me a long time. I also have mountain bikes, snowboards and woodworking projects so the bed comes in handy. Once it's paid off I'll be getting into more off roading. Until then it'll be nothing too crazy, just some two tracks.

I use mine for taking my dog down the trails. She loves it when I put it in 4 low and creep along, that’s her sign too stick her head out the window and start stiffing for stuff.

I use mine mostly for picking up scrap booking supplies, and transportation to lavish Broadway musicals.

My Taco's my DD and weekend warrior as well, I usually end up hauling stuff to/from Home Depot, the dump, etc. I've taken it out to Canyonlands and done some moderates with it, we're heading out there again this spring to hit some harder stuff (I'll have it lifted by then).

I truly love my truck, it's an amazing vehicle. It took a while to get used to the shifty auto, but I figured out how to use all that to my advantage really.

I'm shocked NO ONE has said "to pick up chicks" yet.

I use mine to look like a bad ass errywhere I go, erry day.

Mine is a hunting rig, road trip rig, and DD.
