For my handgun (self-defense), exactly what I normally wear that time of year. This ensures I'm comfortable with the weapon under those conditions. With a rifle or similar, I don't even give clothing a passing thought (can't even remember what I wore last, probably jeans and a t-shirt).

When walking around in the woods, I always wear jeans and a long-sleeve short to avoid insects. I never wear camo. Don't want to draw attention to myself in town and, during hunting season, certainly want to be seen by others in the woods. Besides, I can usually get an animal just fine without dressing up like a bush.

theres a nice open "Range" that everyone uses
that occasionally gets raided by the DLNR

and you gotta be careful where you shoot even on private farmland, because if any of the hippys hear you shooting they'll call the cops...

We went shooting waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up in the mountains with some FBI and DEA friends awhile back. On my family's coffeeland- there's only a few people up there, but one of them is a farmer who just moved from the mainland to start an organic blah blah blah

called the cops, she said we were shooting at people or something cause 5 cop cruisers came speeding up the road...we had MP5's, assault shotguns, LE M4's, glocks....

good think the DEA guy knew the other officers or it wouldda gotten really interesting

FBI 10mm MP5, short assault shotguns, LE M4's, my M1, my dad's .357's, a bunch of glocks... they looked hella relieved when they learned everyone there was LE (Except for my dad and I)

better story was when my old 1SG and a few FFL dealers went to the "range" and got stopped by pistols-drawn DLNR.... They had .50 BMG's, .50 Beowulfs....

the NRA is raising funds to build one here, I'm crossing my fingers.
