As in a 2 track road? Around here it's a road that is pretty much a beaten path through an area. So there's only 2 tracks from a vehicle's tires, not a road that is clear from side to side.

Single track is for a motor cycle and a two track is for a truck. Motor cycle make a single track and a truck makes a two track.

its named that because the two tracks tires make on grass when used a lot.

two tracks of dirt with grass in between .

so its used as way to describe what kind of roads it is... is it big enough? single (bikes/cyles) or double (trucks/atv).
