Hey guys, just recently (last week) lifted my 2016 with a full OME kit (887s) and a AAL. Also added BFG KO2 275/70/17s. Now there seems to be a slight feeling (vibration?) when off the throttle or when slowing down. It comes and goes at various speed. Doesn’t exist under throttle or on the highway. Mainly when slowing down.

My question is (besides what this may be) is what exactly does the driveline vibration feel like that most get after such a lift? Is that what I have or is it something different? And if so, do I need a carrier bearing drop or a ECGS needle bearing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Put the truck in 4hi and see if it goes away. If it does it’s ECGS time.

I’ll give it a try this morning.

EDIT: seems to not exist when in 4Hi

Also if it’s driveline vibrations it will come on acceleration and around 20-40 mph then clear up. Usually

I'll check again on my way home around that speed.

"The simple test to see if the needle bearing is causing any problems is: drive until your vibration occurs, then switch to 4Hi, if the noise/vibration goes away, then you need the ECGS diff bushing."

I am not able to find a consistent speed where the vibration stays, so I am thinking its not the related to diff bushing?
