    neglect, mostly.
    i got on an charter bus at 2 in the morning with my law class, rode all the way there, saw tons of stuff, met some representatives and a lot more and rode all the way back to NC in one day about 2 weeks ago. . . you're in WV, you have no excuse not to go. it's a really cool city. so much history!!

    I took the train from Charleston>NY>Philadelphia>DC, and it was around $200 for the whole trip. I got stuck in DC and had to rent a car back to Charleston due to a mudslide (tracks were closed), but overall a reasonable way to go. And you end up in the heart of NY.

    Then just shop around for cheap (well, under $200) rooms and take a buddy to split the cost...you can go for a few days on the cheap. :)
