    when a place knows your trying to get your certification they wont charge you the regular full price.

    The place I was gonna jump solo @ snoholmish gave a flate rate $2xx sumthin jump as many times in a day just get on the roster.

    SB huh...I woke up many a morning in isla vista not knowing what building I was in or the name of the girl sleeping next time me.

    Where in Texas are you now? I've been to this place in Denying and just north of Austin (maybe just south). With the A.F. you have 2 instructors jump with you hold on to each side, then when you get to a certain altitude you wave them off and pull your own chord. I don't remember how many, but you have to do a certain # of those also before truly going solo.

    Yah thats exactly what I did in Washington I had to do 8, but only 3-4 of them were actual tandems. I live right outside of Ft. Hood, we should go do some jumps. I still have to buy my own gear, I was using a friend of mines when I was in WA, luckily he was the same weight as me.
