Now that I've retired from the Fire Dept (at age 47) I can finally grow a beard. Actually it will just be a chin beard in the end. I'll end up looking like Scott Ian from Anthrax once it's finished. I plan on letting it grow to around the middle of my chest then I'll have to get my daughter to braid it for me lol.

And before anyone says anything... I started turning gray at age 26 lol.

Just shaved everything off myself to start fresh a few days ago.

And listen....I'm nearly all salt. Very little pepper left. Started in my late 20s. But I'll be 50 this year and I still have all of my hair. So I ain't complaining too much.

When my friends who aren't gray star making fun of me I usually run my fingers through my hair and say, "sorry...did you say something?". :D

Lol... yup. I'm in the same boat. Started turning gray when I was around 26 for some reason. Honestly I didn't mind cause it looked kind of cool having gray hair mixed with dirty blond. And even though my hair certainly isn't as thick as it used to be, I still have all of it.
As far as the beard goes... I'm an original hippy. I grew up in Hawaii and California. My parents got divorced when I was a teenager and we moved to the middle of the bible belt and needless to say, I don't fit in down here. But I don't care if someone doesn't like how I look. I'm going for the look that "I" want. If it pisses others off down here then that's just a bonus lol. In a little less than four years we're moving to Colorado once my daughter graduates High School.

I like your style I have heard that type of music a few times an enjoy it after a stressful day or long drive. Music today is washed out with technology not actual vocal/musician talent.
