That’s exactly what I do!! Believe it or not, my daughter is 6 foot! She had a baby, got pregnant 5 months later. Her and her hubby wanted their kids close in age like mine are. They find out it’s Identical twins!!! She panicked.... understandably so. Here’s a pic of me trying to comfort her...Side note: The Sames (as we call the twins) came 2 days before big brothers bday. 3 babies in less than a year!26AFF344-34C6-41F2-8297-2D86C659C1A5.jpg

I doubt my son will ever get married. His plans are to become filthy rich and not share with anyone. I do hope the ole man gets a small kickback. You know, for the 18 years of free room and board and a car to drive.

Congrats on the soon to be new arrival!!

Congrats on the grands. I only have 1 grandchild at this point, hoping any more are a year or two away.

I sympathize with the height differential from generation to generation. My grandfather was 6'5", his brother 6'7", sister 6"4", son 6'6", other son (my dad) 5'8", me 5'8", my son 6'5".
Apparently there is a slightly recessive "short" gene in my family. I was always a small child, shortest in all class pictures prior to high school. As I recall in 4th or 5th grade there was a wheelchair bound kid in the photo next to me and sitting in his chair he was taller than I was standing next to him. I was 4' in 8th grade and finally hit a growth spurt toward the end of my 9th grade year, made it to 5'8" around graduation.

Get a pic of him. I've never been to Idaho, and my family is from Europe. Maybe a lost cousin ;)
