We're actually from Los Angeles, we just really love Canada, and skiing there! lol But yea, they do, because I really want to go back. You should go as soon as you can. Lake Louise, Moraine, and Banff in general are amazing.

Damn dude those are great! That is the perfect location, doesn't get any better than that. My wife was all about us having an outdoor wedding as well but she drew the line at ~60˚F, lol. So we had ours up in Big Basin redwood forest.

thanks! yea, the employees at the Fairmont said it was the coldest outdoor ceremony they've ever done. it was 13° on the thermometer in the afternoon during the ceremony.

We were so stoked when we realized that venue was within our budget. It was really a perfect venue for us. And the timing was great, just before Covid started. lol.

 

Oh yeah totally, I feel bad for everyone that had wedding or other big events planned for this year. Such a bummer

 

several of my friends have had to postpone theirs. sucks.

Haha ahh I just assumed you were from Canada. Yeah, those are all on our list.

I usually go up to Whistler a few times a year for snowboarding and mountain biking. The damn gondola is so expensive now... 70 a person!

 

That's a fair assumption lol. People were always asking us if one or both of us were from canada while we were planning. (we both work in healthcare, so we talked about it with our patients)

When we went, we had season passes, either Epic or Ikon. Made it more manageable.
