I like my tacoma enough, but honestly it's one of the worst driving, slowest, cramped trucks i've owned. Wish I would have gone with a Tundra or just stayed in an F150 for the size. I'm not going out in BLM land or abusing my truck on trails, so as long as it gets me through the occasional mud hole or snowy commute - i'm good.

OK, after owning 2 pre-Tacoma Toyota 4WD trucks which I loved and worked the hell out of both on and off road, one of which ('87) I put a Fisher 6 1/2' plow on. Both trucks were work horses. I got a good deal on a used '97 F-150 which I put a Fisher 7' minute mount on and it served me for 125K miles before rusting out. New truck time, so I went back to Toyota. Tundra was too big so I went with a Taco. Can't put a plow on it, as it will void my warranty, but I love the truck !!

I feel most alpha in my Tacoma

    I've got a bitchin' Tacoma
    Bitchin' Tacoma, bitchin' Tacoma
    I ran over my neighbors
    Bitchin' Tacoma, bitchin' Tacoma
Now I'm in all the papers
My folks bought me a bitchin' Tacoma
    With no insurance to match
So if I happen to run you down
    Please don't leave a scratch
I ran over some old lady
One night at the county fair
    And I didn't get arrested
    Because my dad's the mayor
    Bitchin' Tacoma, bitchin' Tacoma
    Donuts on your lawn
    Bitchin' Tocoma, bitchin' Tacoma
    Tony Orlando and Dawn
When I drive past the kids
    They all spit and cuss
'Cause I've got a bitchin' Tacoma
And they have to ride the bus
So you'd better get out of my way
When I come through your yard
'Cause I've got a bitchin' Tacoma
    And an Exxon credit card

Tell them it would be easier to market if the front cab mount was 2" further back and the TRD Off Road/Pro had a front locker! :mudding:

They're not going to listen to some ad agency. No one buys a Tacoma to go mudding. I've was building a mud truck a Toyota wouldn't even make the cut. It would be a 70's Ford HiBoy or a Chevy Square

no one cares what stock truck you drive, lol

in my area (north east texas) there is ONE modded dark grey tacoma; snorkel and aftermarket plate bumper.

a stock truck catches no eyes but this one catches mine. Can’t wait to get my bumper on. need some different rims too :/

My white TRD 4x4 does have a baby yoda emblem in the back XD

I had a rental Nissan Frontier for a week. Felt like a loser. Once I got my Taco back it was balls to the walls.

I love the looks, reliability and resale value.

some asshole smashed my window out so that’s why I had that Nissan rental lol.

I feel like most other truck guys and Tacoma drivers look at my nice unscarred truck and feel “f&ck, I should have just left it stock” :)
