Oh no don't worry about it, I was just wasting thread space. I too like to wait and confirm before I put something out there.

That's great. I just wish I had locking hubs...

    FROM THEIR INFORMATION SHEET...
    NOTICE REGARDING FRONT AXLE APPLICATIONS:
The Powertrax Lock-Right Locker works well on the front axle of 4-wheel drive vehicles provided a couple of important guidelines are followed. The Lock-Right Locker should be used only on vehicles equipped with locking hubs on the front axle or with front axle disconnect. In addition, the vehicle must not be equipped with full time 4-wheel drive. Vehicles equipped with a Lock-Right Locker on the front axle should not be operated on the highway with the front hubs locked and 4-wheel drive engaged. Following these guidelines will ensure very on-road driveability while still providing maximum off-road traction.

I still like the idea of a true non-locking diffs while driving on the street and locking in only when I need it so that my truck stays out of the shop and I can still get out of a jamb. It did look very promising though. Too bad those UN vehicles drive on roads that suck.

    Thanks!

I'm sure this has been discussed on this site before, but do you guys think Toyota will offer front locking differentials for 4x4's in the future? :D

I hope so but I don't know if the demand is there. I would love to see an Ivan version that costs 2x as much and has been factory tested with all the stuff we like off road! Just look at things like the M series cars or some of Honda's R stuff. Having worked with the Japanese in their product development, they are more about the masses than they are about the niches. Too bad!

'Have a eLock rear already and plan on an ARB front soon. Yes they require air lines, drilling the case, etc. but ARB does have a great name and they will (if properly installed) still give a very reliable set up on road and off. I would love to just swap out a part and go wheeling.

    Thanks for your input!

What does that sticker above the filler plug say? If it says 'LSD Oil Only', then you have an LSD Diff.
    Here is mine :

I think it says lsd oil. Would the c7 and c8 be any different? Ill take a better pic later today. I believe it says the same with the lsd oil sticker. Good for like 2 hp

I doubt the C7 and C8 are significant. Probably just some sort of inventory code.
