I was changing out an air filter and discovered this loose hose. It appears to have broken off and a bit of plastic is still inside the hose. Pretty sure I found where it use to connect but really have no idea what this thing is to go about repairing it. It's located in the back, right next to the air filter housing.thumbnail.jpg thumbnail-1.jpg thumbnail-2.jpg . Any one know what this is?

Fuel pressure regulator hose, would be relatively easy to fix. Just find an appropriately sized barb for the hose, drill the hole in the box out to the right size, and glue it in.

This, very easy to do. Would probably save you a bundle over replacing the housing. Most of the better hardware stores carry a really good assortment of barbs.

I got overzealous removing the air box and did the same thing! Did this and worked great and has held up for several years. I used black RTV. Attach barb from the inside of the box.
