What does toyota use as a oem clutch ?

    I'm thinking about replacing my clutch soon on my 99 2wd 2.4L. .can anybody tell me what brand clutch toyota uses when you buy the truck bran new off the lot ?

    Ok so who makes their clutches? I use mine for towing and no issues but at 176.000 I'm guessing it's about time .

    Snugtop cab high canopy.
    If you want a clutch that will never wear out get a Center Force. I've used them and been very happy.

    I've used a LUK clutch on my 91 4 cyl and no issues.
    hope someone might Have an answer

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    They've switched back and forth between Luk and Aisin clutches over the years. My 2011 had a Luk and I hated it, was too weak and I burned it a few times trying to heel and toe start on steep hills. I have an automatic now so no longer have to worry about that issue thankfully.
