    TOO much plastic!
Mine is only 8 years old, but for all the plastic parts that have come off I could have built a replica aircraft carrier. The problem is that the plastic becomes brittle in cold weather and then cracks.
floor mat clips, cigarette cover, seat rail covers, glove compartment clip, not to mention all the plastic clips that keep the truck together (aka bulb clips, grill clips, etc...) all have cracked or have broken completely. I know plastic is cheaper and lighter than the metal equivalent, but this is just poor planing on Toyota.

Also roof molding comes off easier than a prositiute panties.

Other than that though, it's ok.

I reset one of the trip meters when the light comes on. I figure I have between 45 and 60 miles to get gas. Assuming 15-20mpg and 3 gallons left with the fuel light coming on at 17gallons used. So I have a bit of a safety net.

X2Heated mirrors, seats or watever is for chicks. Why would a MAN want ipod connection, mp3, or all that other stuff, so they can listen to one direction or justin beiber? Cmon the only thing u should be listening to is the sound of your engine at 4000 rpm tryng to ditch a big mudhole sissies....the next thing those guys are gonna ask for is for some magnetic controled suspension because having leafs on their trucks is hard on their ass

I would definitely have to agree about the paint. I've had my 13 Taco for about 4 months now and I have 2 dings on passenger side rear wheel well. And just yesterday I noticed some more scratches.

They sound terrible.....I've spent over $1000 on exhaust trying to find the right sound and it's either way too quiet or sounds like a dirt bike....

Radio is not loud at all, cheap non-body colored door handles on a $30k truck, plastic interior, engine sounds odd, worse gas millage than full sized trucks, doesn't have ABS brakes on the rear, and no bed lights! However, they do last a long time, and can tow a fair amount of weight, has comfortable seats, can easily make them stand out from others, and have some kind of popularity.

KIAs & Hundyais have 100k warranties because they need them to sell them. I hear they are getting better but still not Toyota quality.

    As stock as they come.
So far for this new guy with about 750 miles on the 2013 Acc cab. No rain channels. Water leaks right into the power window switch.

Crappy ATs is true of all trucks. Why do mfgs. put them on? Because 95% of 4x4s never see dirt. I fought with Ford dealers on this on every one I bought. I have a neighbor with a newish Ford and it has Perelli ATs. Talk about a crappy tire. I put a set of those on my 2001 F150 Screw (a real tire eater) and they lasted 25k. Stock tires on my 2009 went 60k. One reason I bought the Baja was the tires, although I wish they were Duratracs.

If there was one thing I wish Toyota did it would be offering a bigger fuel tank

Headlight yellowing. It's terrible that these trucks that are only a few years old have yellowed headlights like it's the 80's.
