I absolutely despise the electronic 4WD! Come on TOYOTA! Whatever happened to the bare-bones SR5 style from the mid 1980's?

Why not make an SR6 package with manual wind-up windows, manual 4X4 actuation, manual hubs and the 6 speed manual transmission? It would probably be less unaffordable, and appeal to all consumers who just want a no-frills Tacoma. I know I would buy one!

Cap, incorrect rims & tires, stereo...
Quiet is boring and actually dangerous. I wish the stock stereo was louder, especially when I plug my ipod in. 62 is a dumb number for the volume to stop at.

You forgot manual steering, manual side mirrors, and manual brakes. If you're going to go all out manual, do it right! :p

    nothing cool
it IS a "cool story bro".. you're in a TACOMA FORUM. half of the threads on here are about people who love their trucks. go to a Chevy or Dodge forum and talk about how terrible the Toyota Tacomas are. I'm sure they'd love to hear how much money we waste on our trucks.

I get it. This thread is the "what do you hate about your truck". But, I'm glad you're a member here in the TACOMA FORUM ;)

Is the volume actually goes all the way to 62? Seriously....I thought that my hearing is bad.

So i realized earlier that the only thing Ive really come up with that I dislike it a lack of rear air vents. The A/C just seems a bit underpowered. My dog gets car sick and the our envoy had rear air and it seemed to help him get over it. Otherwise its all good.

I'll second that one! I hate auto lock! Then again, don't have any of those little ones to fall out of the other doors.

Guess I'm way to old....things I don't like about every new truck....I really miss "Wind Wing Windows" My 87 Long Bed Deluxe Toy was the last truck I bought that had them....Loved having those things! Then again, I really miss the floor operated headlight dimmer too..... Still have one of those in my 69 FJ 40...come to think of it, it has wind wings also in the rare times when I actually put full doors on it...been a few years though!

No rear disc brakes. Cab is not tall enough. Give me a front locking diff option and locking hubs.

Poor interior lighting, also dome lights should come when door opens.

A v8 would be the only thing id like. The 4.0 seems underpowered.
