I wish my Seats were a little higher. I feel like I am sitting on the floor at times.

The seats. I have the standard cab and I am constantly switching positions of the back of the seat. One day I feel to upright and the next I feel like I am laying on my back. No happy middle ground.

Overall very satisfied with the vehicle.
Don't know why it doesn't have a temp readback for outside air temp? My wife's Sienna has one for chrissakes!
Will probably install Teltek XL unless someone has a better recommendation...

The gas mileage sucks for a V6. Superhcharged V8 muscle cars get better MPG.

Definitely long overdue on supplying a diesel for NA market. What's the story there?

Hells yeah! Every other country has small diesel trucks.

Also, I'm starting to hate that my Taco came with XM radio. They won't stop calling and emailing me. I didn't like it when it was free, so why am I going to pay for it. Toyota, why did you send my home info to XM?

120,000. Getting bad vibration at low speeds, frame is a rustbucket, leaf springs are just waiting to break and tear a hole in my gas tank. This is not what Toyota quality used to be. Tine to check out detroit again.

I've been the proud new owner of a 15 for just over a month now.

    1. No homelink, outside temp, compass or auto dim on my $33,000 truck
    2. Can't program the doors to automatically lock in drive or unlock in park
    3. Entune Premium is laggy. Press and wait a full second before it registers letters

Aside from these my truck is perfect. I have ZERO regrets

what 8 year old car/truck in Ohio doesn't have rust... if it's been in enough snow?

Take it to the dealer. There's a Corrosion Resistant Compound service campaign going on.

My 06 with 130 k is getting a new frame. They replaced my gas tank straps while there for the service, and then ordered a new frame. (If the frame is good they do a spray on undercoating.)

While there I learned about a recall on the rear springs for just what you mentioned actually happening. Supposedly they'll replace them with new 4 leaf TRD springs.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Supercharge your V6 and it will get better mpg. Never understood why but they improve performance and mpg on most rigs.
Granola liberals are doing everything they can to keep diesels out of the US. Keep on dreaming, a diesel Tacoma will never happen here. You'd be better off to buy a Hilux in Australia and import it here.
Rust has been a Tacoma problem since the beginning, take it to the dealer and get a new frame or undercoat done and you will be good to go. Vibration is probably related to a worn driveline or bad u-joint.

More air into the cylinders increases the combustion process. You literally get more "bang for the buck", since the fuel flow stays the same (or sometimes a bit less). It's a great deal, considering air is free.

Would like the seat to be higher where my knees rest while driving.
The trucks I've owned prior to my sturdy little tacoma have been full size, faster , and quieter, (til the inevitable Glas packs were installed).
But i knew what i was getting before i purchased it. A good solid truck that gets better mileage, has plenty of speed, and Imo the best looking truck on the road.
    but that's it... the seat.
(Sorry for goin' on on & on ya'll.can't help myself....) :)

Being that I live in the desert, when it's 110 degrees outside, I wish the A/C was a little more effective. The fan on 4 doesn't push nearly as much air as it should. Other than that, I love this truck.
