We have a '07 HHR we bought new with 49,000 miles. My wife or we bought it new and she basically drove it to work only for a few years before she was laid-off, then decided to retire. Lately, we have been driving it more, but the '10 Tacoma is still driven by far the most because my wife feels more secure in it. Before the Tacoma, I had a '03 VW TDI. Bought when diesel was cheaper than reg and it was our main driving car. So I went from nearly 50mpg to about 17/19 average mpg.

I sold the Ford in 2020 and picked up a 1960 Studebaker Lark.
    1960 Studebaker Lark_Exterior-20.jpg

Then at the beginning of this year I found my Datsun. I have been wanting one since I sold mine back in 2000. I bought one back in 1996. It was my first car.
    1972 Datsun 510 - 4 door
    Z22 with L20B head, HS4 Dual Carburetors, 280ZX close ratio 5 speed

I am using this as a daily right now, so the Tacoma is just sitting there. Kind of sad, but this car is so fun to drive.

2019 RAV 4 Limited. Wife’s car. She loves it.

2012 Tacoma ACCESS Cab. TRD OFF Road. My daily driver to work the farms. But I baby it and wash it way to often to be a farm truck. Love this truck. I drive it everywhere.

My other ride is a 1974 VW bug. Purchased as a 500.00 roller it was missing an engine, some interior pieces, various trim and all the rubber seals were shot. Brakes, tires etc car had been sitting unused for over a decade so I put it all back together because I worked at a VW repair shop in the 1970s through early 2000s and have a bunch of parts. Easy to whip out a checkbook but this one qualifies as built not bought.

Complete opposite of my Tacoma, no ground clearance, not off-road or snow capable, no leather seats or ABS, or airbags, but like my Tacoma it’s never finished. 60mph never felt so fast..E52B3692-9995-41A4-A239-32CA8E33FADE.jpg

I’m feeling the itch to have a fun vehicle again. The x is fun to drive but doesn’t check the “has plenty of power” box.

I really miss the screaming explosion of power from a turbo.

I haven’t begun to research or anything yet, just feeling the itch

I’m definitely a bit young for this thread it feels but I’ve only ever owned my taco. I learned to drive on it and my dad’s 2012 Tacoma. I’ve driven a 2014 Wrangler when I borrowed it from my mom and when we got rid of the wrangler for the new bronco sport when the gas prices went up I drove my mom around because “I paid for your drivers test I might as well get some benefits”. For a while when my Truck was in the shop I drove my girlfriends 2008 Hyundai Sonata and I hated the highways in it, I felt so low and Florida drivers are insane. It felt really sporty compared to my truck and it was a nice ride but I just couldn’t get used to it.
