if it's only that small of range I'd let it be. Speed limits on most roads are 70 MPH or less so you really shouldn't be going that fast anyhow.

Don't know the trie milage, my buds at Discount Tire gave them half-life left. They are Bridgestone Dueler's I believe. They were on it when I got it, and are in good condition overall. Not the tire I would have chosen but they will do while my tire jar gets full enough. The shake has been pretty consistent starting just at 72mph and gets worse before going away at about 78. Before the tire rotation and balance, it was far worse and started around 65mph and stayed through the '80s. Lots have been done in the three weeks since she came home with me. Spicer Carriage Bearing and U-Joints, Tire rotation and balance, Transmission pan drop filter, and fluid. Some may be having an effect on this problem.

OK should I answer this question or click the LIKE tab? Most of my tires have a bubble here and there and they have never caused any problems like this. You just have to remember their location and try to minimize that part of the tire touching the road, especially on hot Texas days.

Well, I must admit that I have not considered the inner fender thing. I bet the guy was happy that you found it. Easy fix and not too hard on the dinero.

Check your lug nuts if they are acorn style and your wheel is NOT hub centric then that will be your problem. You need lug centric bolts. I would do the lug centric even if you think your wheels are hub centric. They truly make a huge difference. Most Toyotas have them as Original Equipment.

New Spicer Life's. The shake was there before their replacement but far worse. The carriage bearing is a new top-shelf Spicer as well. Not saying that there has never been a bad new U-joint but not likely, do you think.

I'll have to look into this, Just had tires rotated and balanced three days ago. But don't know what this is, so I don't know if I have it.

Id lean towards tire issues, or even strut issues.

Shakes from 72-78mph. Not violent shaking, just annoying.

This is what you should be running with your aftermarket wheels. Dont mind the specs, the style of lug is what your looking for. Screenshot 2021-09-18 11.43.02 PM.jpg

Get the stickyest grease you can and hit every zirk every day for a week. Or use the red stuff. Gray green moly has made every toyota I have had shake.
