Yup, Type S with a 6-speed. Very fun car to drive and great build quality; back before Honda/Acura lost their mojo.

Nice, was debating between these two before I got my taco. Would have been happy with the LR but not when I would take it out brand new and pinstripe the shit out of it or break it on a trail...

Well I said I wouldn't be happy about it, not I wouldn't do it :-D. I'll stick to the 60s thank you very much!

It's too bad the new discovery platform got rid of all the fun, I was waiting to see if a 2017 was in my future...

I have a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. I plan on using the Tacoma to pull it to some car shows. My Tacoma is almost the exact same color as the T-bird. I plan on making some pics of them together. The rest of my family drives Honda's and 1 Subaru. Civics are way better than Corolla's (in my opinion; Corolla's still don't have IRS). My family drove Fords while I was growing up. I really liked most of those cars and trucks back then. I had some bad experiences with a few Fords in the 90's and got tired of losing my shirt with them. I have personally driven Honda's, Mazda's and Toyota's ever since. I absolutely loved my 2004 Tundra DC; can't stand the new ones....they need to lose a bunch of weight and bulk.

I love my truck. But this is my baby. Grandpa bought this one brand new in March of 1968 in Winnsboro, SC. Just under 90k on the odometer. Carport kept its entire life. tore it down to rebuild it 6 years ago. The only sheetmetal work it needed was a small patch panel under the battery shelf.
