Yep, '63. Hated to see it go. We had more fun & met more people, driving that than the 911.

 

I've owned this since '97 and it's been stashed away in my parents' garage for 10+ years with my dad driving it occasionally.

I picked it up a couple weeks ago to bring it home for a full refresh this winter. New top, new upholstery, replacing a bunch of nearly 30 year old rubber bits on the suspension and body, installing a roll bar, replacing the 11 year old tires that only have 3k miles on them, and hopefully wheels if the budget allows.

I've been driving it a bit before the snow starts falling and I tear into the refresh...it still puts a smile on my face after 26 years.

 

Took my '67 40 FST out this morning for the last drive of the year.
I'm the 3rd owner. Picked her up five years ago. She came out of NorCal, and is totally rust and mod free. 3 on the tree, manual brakes, manual steering, no seat belts, no rollover protection. Kinda like a bike, only slower and way less agile.

She's the oldest Landcruiser I own. Everything else is 1987 and newer.

 

I swear I already posted in this thread but I can't find anything so...

Finally, after a 5 year search, I found a clean MK3 Supra and kicked out the Scion.

That's awesome, my dad had a white MK3 in the garage when we were growing up but sold it when we moved down to San Diego

Just bought a 2023 WRX GT. Was able to factory order one with a Manual Transmission. The GT generally comes with a CVT Paddle shifter and although I hear that it's pretty decent. I can't stand a CVT. It took a lot of time and some doing and I had to wait a long time for it, but I was finally able to order one with a manual. This is an STI with adjustable suspension, center lock diff, 4wd (obviously), torque vectoring, etc...

You'll have to excuse the dirt on the car. It's been raining and snow is about to start later today in Colorado Springs. Since it has a Titanium exhaust you have to keep it polished. So I spent all morning polishing the entire exhaust. But the Titanium exhaust is 45% lighter than the Stainless Steel Exhaust, its worth it. I was also able to get a set of Blizzx Snow tires and a set of DUNLOP SP SPORT MAXX GT 600 to change out in the summer.

This car is an STI without the big wing on the back. Since they stopped making the STI a few years ago, everything carried over to this car. I'll try to get some better pictures soon.
