@endo304 I can't add to the rear shock issue, but I can show you the OME w/Dakars I had on mine. About 1.5 in front with 881 coils, and 2ish in rear. No AAL. Note shackles, exhaust hangar, ex brake line, and the important BPV bracket.

EDIT. Also, I was too dumb to check into shock compression extension numbers at the time, and just had OME Nitrochargers and stock bump stops. You really should check on those numbers and exercise the rear axle to make sure your measurements are right, and the Wheelers bumps stops are great. Have a set waiting to go on my 2nd gen.

Another thing to mention is that I’m prob gonna run it with and without the camper depending on the situation so guessing I’ll have it on for half the year and off for half so that adds to the confusion on my end.

Buy the Dakar pack then, and let it settle (1000 miles give or take).

From there, put on the camper and see how much more it drops. If it doesn't by much, or if it sits level with all your stuff, then you're good.

You can always add the leaf later if you end up sagging.

I really appreciate your input! I just have to keep reading and learning. I think my head is going to explode bc of the IRFS (internet research fatigue syndrome) ... I’m coining that if it’s not a thing already Thanks again Kv!

I’m also typing this from my stupid phone so we’re lagging and overlapping on replies. Sorry. This is where a computer would come in handy!

Here's my truck with a Glasstite camper shell with OME suspension kit (Nitrocharger sports shocks, 883 front coils, Dakar leaf pack, AAL, exhaust bracket mod/extended stainless steel brake lines). I got about close to 3" of lift, compared to the stock suspension/worn out socks.

That's a sexy looking taco  do you have 31s on those 15" wheels? That's still alot of lift up front even with an arb bumper!

OP here's a picture of my very similar taco with absolutely zero lift and worn out suspension.. just to compare to hammer95 here20190329_090442.jpg

dcsb here with rear glasstite camper cap with shrockworks bumper

I did rear extend travel Fox shocks, will give ~3"
I got rid of my rear OME shocks. I'm running a used set of dakars w/aal and overload connected to same old original sets of Downey extended shackles, rides well and has more rebound now. stock leafs w/ Downey 1.5" AAL can RIP now.

Thanks, mang! You have a cool truck as well. Yes, those are actually 225/75 on factory OEM aluminum alloy 15” wheels that I had powder coated in black. I got the widest set of tires that would fit on those wheels.
