    No PE in my company to work under so I guess it doesn't really matter

    A Civil PE allow you to work for your self. Depends on what field you work in. Last I looked the wages are about the same after the PE. The masters delays 2 years of experience. I would say go work and see if or what you like to do, then see if a masters is needed or desired. Work is different than school.
