Do you think the durobumps are better. I’ll take them if they are the fronts with hardware

Also curious how used and abused they are...?

I do think the Durobumps are better. They're constructed with 2 different durometer rubber compounds to cushion when you bottom out. A softer rubber up top and a firmer rubber below. I believe they also have geometry built in to give a better contact patch with the LCA.

Wheelers on the other hand are just foam. Several instances where Wheelers have separated from the baseplate.

The biggest +++ I'd give to Durobumps are the rears. I've got shims stacked under rear Wheelers bumps to prevent shock bottoming. Durobumps are available in different lengths so you eliminate unnecessary hardware.

Another caveat....Wheelers attaching hardware is retarded compared to Durobumps. Ease of installation also goes to Durobumps as well as quality of hardware.

My old Wheeler's are still in good shape though if you're interested. Hardware's rusted cuz Wheeler's doesn't supply stainless hardware.

They're $34 cuz they're used and there's no guarantee I'll be able to find the Allen wrench for installation.

Put some weight in the back.
    Bump stops will not help!
The valving of your new rear suspension is tighter or stiffer than your old suspension put some weight in the back.

    Good luck

You better check for cracked leaf springs or a bent tailgate after that. Probably will never latch the same.

This is my read on the situation. You need some weight in your bed and it will ride much better.

    Durobumps are awesome though.

Try a couple 50lb sand bags in the bed beforehand. Might see a big improvement. I could use some in mine as well but I like the pain.

Wow just seeing all the responses from last night! Appreciate the offers. I may end up adding sand to the back for a little bit then upgrade to Dakar’s and durobumps. As far as tuning springs and shocks or both... how??

I have Dakars and at first it was the HD (7-leaf) pack.
Now, after taking the 3rd leaf from the top out, it is the medium weight (6-leaf) pack.
I like it better because it just rides nice with little to no weight. Even when I add 400-500lbs/camping gear, it doesn't sag much...maybe .5-.75".
