    Durobumps for the WIN!!!!

I may be a bit biased...

Honestly though. You can see for yourself in the videos alone. Have a look at a video on my website www.toyotabumpstops.com. The Durobumps videos show hard hit after hard hit. our videos look more like Mike Tyson Knock outs.

In Regards to the set of used Superbumps for sale from @chucklefunkk.... BUY THEM!!! What a great deal AND once you have determined like the rest of us that there is better available I will be here to take care of you LOL.

OP - Bump stops will not fix your problem. You've heard it from the horses mouth. No Gas Shock, foam or rubber bump stop will take care of your specific issue. I think the best option for you is to throw a few sand bags in the bed of the truck and see if that smooths out the ride. If it does you know your leaf pack is to stiff and you can probably remove a leaf like others have stated to get it all dialed in.

    my two cents...

The actual point of upgrading leaf springs, which is totally lost on the 'omg need lift in the rear' folks, is to allow you to carry more weight.

The same thing will happen if you upgrade the springs on your coilovers to heavier springs without adding additional weight. You're effectively eliminating 'up travel' (I know, it's not the right term, but it gets the point across) by pushing the suspension upward. So it looks cool cause it lifts, but you're sacrificing suspension travel. When you drive and hit things that push the body upward, there's less distance you can go before hitting the end of your travel, which causes loud sounds and jarring unpleasantness. Even on pavement, the amount your suspension travels would surprise most people, so it's not exclusive to off-road.

Everyone already said it, but I'm trying to give you a little more understanding as to the *why* putting more weight in your bed is the cheap solution. You'll lose some of that luscious lift, but you'll regain suspension travel and as a result, ride comfort.

That's why a lot of riders spend time getting the sag right. :D

Thanks for ALL opinions and responses fellas!! I’ve put 2 50lbs bags of all purpose sand in the bed inside my bed extender and I swear it’s made a HUGE difference! Just the ride i have been hoping for!! So much smoother! I’m actually very surprised in how much $10 for 100lbs of all purpose sand has made!! I could tell damn near instantly as I pulled out of the local Lowe's parking lot.. By the way I don't see with my naked eye that I've lost much of my lift at all, if any... Thanks again yall

Awesome! It's just the design of these types of suspension systems. They are designed to carry far more weight over the empty weight than passenger vehicle suspensions. But it's hard to believe the difference until you try it.

I’m glad you mentioned this because I have noticed a loud metal tweak clunck when I turn going up into my driveway at about 5-8mph. The body rolls a bit, and I hear a clinch from the right or left rear. I can’t tell if it’s the leafs moving or something else. It’s pretty loud and definitely isn’t in the front because the front has already past the curb bump entrance into the driveway. Not sure what it could be, but it never use to do it until I took a leaf out
