I have tried to find any info on the TRD Pro and its not there? I see many vehicles listed on AutoTrader that are not Pro's. Whats up with that? I purchased for ranch truck that could eat horrible roads, I asked for truck with max ground clearance. Got Pro. I added the blower as well. How is the TRD Pro different than Off Road? Its ride is annoyingly jumpy along the 50 miles of dirt road. Other than a steel plate to load springs are there options for ride adjustment? Can I adjust the Fox shocks in any way? Blind spot - Is it just me, or is there a black hole where vehicles suddenly appear from?

I did search the forum for TRD Pro and found very little.

    1. What is it? What was the thinking on this trucks characteristics and ride?

    2. Can ride be modified, what is that like?

    Thanks for TRD Pro 101.

I think you have answered your own question of what your truck is. Its a TRD pro with a supercharger.
Of course you can modify the ride. You can do anything with the right motivation. Now weather or not you can modify the ride with your existing parts I am not sure of that.
    Enjoy the new truck.

If you want to adjust the shocks I suggest you buy some upgraded fox and have accutune tune the shocks for your needs specifically and the ride should be better. Also suggest you swap out the leaf pack since you’re using it as a ranch truck and assuming you’re hauling heavy loads

It's basically just an off road with a couple nicer parts (grill, headlights/taillights, OE shocks, etc). The shocks probably need to be swapped out for something adjustable. There are many options, Kings are very popular, also Icon, OME.

It usually hauls light loads actually. I feel like I am riding on the top of the spring travel. There may be nothing that can be done. Looking for other owners experience. The rear springs look stressed and sagging. Front suspension has always sat higher - at a slope. Other than water draining from bed I don't understand this front end higher than rear end. `

Wyckedan - thank you. That's what I wanted to understand. I am ready to speak to a local Toyota shop. I'll keep searching the site or mods.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Put some weight in the bed to preload the suspension a little

The front end being higher is called squatting. This thread has some info about that. But be careful about posting in there, it might get deleted and you might get banned.

I think they are Blue and Yellow - Regrettably I just drive and use the truck and have not stopped to appreciate or know what its designed to do.
I know the experience on TW makes it the best place to ask these basic questions.

So the "squat" is desirable in rock climbing right? They thought that would sell more of these - whoa crazy. Yea Im not going to post there.
    Thanks.

You don't have a Pro,you have a basic Off Road that has had a supercharger installed.

I will. No it really is a Pro. Local dealer had this one. It has no markings except the front grill and back. OE skid plate and my ARB. I added the super charger right after I bought it. Had to order it and get it installed. After it was installed there was a mirror tag that explained why the blower is so loud and that the loudness is not a defect. I ordered that before the part was canceled. Truck has 100 k warranty that covers the blower so at the time it seemed like a good idea. The little image on my signature is the truck.

OP, post photos of your suspension. Did you buy it new or used?
