What exactly is Toyota CRC?

Can someone explain to this layman exactly what CRC is? What is its compatibility with other oily or waxy compounds such as Fluid Film or other petroleum-based applications? Are they compatible? Do they compliment each other?

My truck is currently sprayed annually with food-grade mineral oil into all of the underside of the body (floorpans), the frame (inside cavities, too), inside the tailgate, doors, fenders, hood, etc.

I am wondering if I should have the Toyota CRC done in addition to the annual oiling.

I know parts of these questions are answered in other threads. I'd just like to separate out the issue that defines EXACTLY what CRC is and how it plays with others on the playground.

    Thanks.
