Let me clean my speedo glass without scratching the shit out it.

Put a one piece drive shaft in it stock .

Let me fit a rear facing carseat in my back seat without driving my knees into the steering wheel.

Add Carplay and Android Auto (I know it's in the works)

Thankfully they are all easy to remove except for the ones on the visor. Getting them off was a huge improvement, but there is no reason those need to have heat activated glue. Sticky back should be sufficient since owner only ever need to read them once, if that.

Chevy/GMC Colorado already have plenty of TSBs and recalls. I can 100% guarantee the new Ford Ranger will have just as many if not more.

    https://www.cars.com/recalls/chevrolet-colorado/

It's not like any of the other makers are releasing mid-size trucks with zero issues or better reliability.

Good, bad or indifferent Toyota still holds the top spot there.

Regular cab, a V6 with more than 3.5L and an optional 6spd MT TRD OR. I'd probably still get a automatic, and a 4cyl. The 6-6 option would be nice.

Need to add hand hold straps on drivers side a pillar AND both sides side of headliner above windows. Like 1st and 2nd generations. This is a big deal!!

You have to change the grille
You need to remove chrome from the sport models
Please put back the tried and true 4.0 V6
    Add better factory leaf packs
    Power seats
    4Runner seats
    No push button starts
Toyota Safety Sense is an option that can be easily removed from the vehicle.

And if its not too much to ask... a heated steering wheel option would be nice.

Just assuming ACLB OR MT (US) or DCSB OR MT (Canada)? Or, why not both in both at both?

I had trouble reading that too, only thing I could come up with was he wanted a regular cab off road manual.

Need not worry, California has determined that fake chrome accents causes cancer. Finally California has protected us from this evil !

That's the problem with government mandates. It doesn't matter what the buyer wants.

Funny, because I'd go the opposite way. A lower 1st (think granny low), 2nd to start out for normal driving, 5th as a 1:1, and 6th as the only OD. Oh, and yes, a much lower reverse gear.

The Muncie SM465 is about my ideal transmission with a 6.55:1 first gear, and a 6.09:1 reverse. Add something between 2-3, and a 6th gear OD, and it'd be just about perfect for me. I owned 3 different trucks with the SM465, and wish I could still buy a truck with one. But I guess most Tacoma buyers would complain about the long throws and dumptruck-like shifts.
