What fell off my truck?

I admit at first consideration, an exhaust system damper seems like some ridiculous over engineering, however when I consider how the stupid seals between each section of my exhaust wear out every couple years, leak, cause noise and emissions codes, I begin to wonder if a lb of pig metal hanging in the right place might improve that situation....

 

my 96 has factory tcase skid aswell.

 

Don't know if its been said but it looksl like some sort of muffler/exhaust hanger.

 

Nice, well I learned something new. They should all have come with one seeing as how exposed the t-case is. I'm surprised it wasn't a standard part of the TRD package.

 

This isnt my pic, just off google, but is what mine looks like. Its cheesy compared to any custom one though!
