Heck, I'd say put the tailgate lock on (that washer thing), and the center console lock. No one can steal your stuff that way and it's all under $10.

As far as spending money, get an OME lift.

BTW, I grew up with Jeeps, too, and drove my Wrangler into the ground before getting this Tacoma. I couldn't be happier. Welcome to TW!

Yep. Fairly simple install. Great write up on here. The cam is relocated from right to left side if the handle.

    A little rant....

Sealed the deal on my truck last Monday. Truck was advertised online as available on the lot...when I arrived I was informed that it wasn't on the lot but was due to arrive any day. Sales Manager searched Dealer Exchanges and told me three were in the area and he could have one in the lot within three hours. Three hours pass...no truck. I was then told it would be in the next day...no truck.

I've been passed along with promises and false delivery dates for a week plus now. Tonight I was told that the drop dead delivery date for the truck was last Friday and they have no explanation as to why it hasn't arrived and don't want to tell me another date only to have it slide again.

I've spoken to the Sales Manager and the Customer Relations Manager. Everyone acknowledges that this is not a good sales experience but can't give me an answer as to when it will arrive.

    Do I walk???

Tell them you will if they don't knock the price down more. How close is another Stealership?

Drive the 3 hours to the other dealers and give them your business.

The exact vehicle I want is unavailable anywhere. Pyrite Mica DCLB with Sport Package 1. I've done my homework on this one.

If I want the exact vehicle I need to wait.

Trying to figure my leveage on what I ask for or renegotiate with the dealer.

Already drove an hour outof my way for this one because they advertised it as available.

    Pissed.

    Welcome Mark.

FWIW Toyota's web inventory really sucks. Most of the time the stealership does not have the vehicle. I had a lot of trouble finding one when I purchased mine.

Get a feel for your new Tacoma then come to the next Maryland meet. A lot of the guys have done some really nice mods to make the Tacoma very liveable.

BTW The PM color shines up really nice.
