In Hawaii we call our language ( pigeon English) or short cut English...in the old plantation days ..comprise of many non- speaking immigrants..who learn English using the major part of the English languages..
Hence today I write the way I speak...broken English..

you say “we are going all the way”. ...We say “ Go for broke”. Google Hawaiian pigeon...
We say ..”You go...I stay..”. Meaning ..”Yes you should go to the movies...but I will stay home..”
    “We no waste words...lol. “

Many visitors sometimes will not understand us ....lol

One more word if you ever visit Hawaii ...the word “PAU”. Means are you finish? Or done , completed the task.....
My cousin from California..eating dinner at the local dinner ..the waitress ask if he was “PAU”...had no idea what she was asking... Now you know the meaning of this hawaiian word which often inter-mix with English

    I PAU write here....
    Aloha

    Lua - means toilet
    Kane - means male
    Wahine- means female..
    Mauka- means towards the mountains
    Kai - means ocean
Hawaiian language comprises of only 11 letters..
One more...”NO Can” ..means I cannot do it, or it cannot be done..
So I “no can” correct my English here...

Hope y'all aren't confusing the Sport with the actual Bronco. Today was the first day you could even order a Bronco with a projected delivery to start in June. Several test mules on the road, but there have been no Broncos produced for sale yet.

I'll look at one in a couple years when they add the 5.0 and remove the early-adopter pricing.

It's even more confusing because the Bronco Sport (aka rugged Escape) is for sale and on dealer lots. You're right about actual Bronco. I think they made a big mistake by letting the Bronco Sport loose before the full sized one, this thread is a perfect example of how first impressions can help or hurt a product launch.

Agreed.....if one of the other car companies would snap up the Jimny and rebadge it they would have a hit.

I think the 1977 Bronco was the last year before they became full size to complete with full size Chevy Blazer...
The first year 1978 full size Bronco had a double shocks set-up in the front..consider one of the years to own..
Due to double shocks on each side....
The 1977 and below ...collectors today..I like the sport models, and the 351 Cleveland motors..
    Aloha,

The Bronco Sport looks pretty stupid. I've seen many of them. I'm sure they all bought them at a marked up price too LOL

The sport looks ugly, but is probably a decent compact SUV to actually take off the pavement with a decent amount of cargo room. I think it's supposed to compete with the CRV, RAV4, etc. Around here they are selling below MSRP.

Yeah it has a locking rear diff on some trims I think. However, 3 cyl makes me say hell no. I would much rather have a Cherokee or Grand Cherokee if I wanted something independent suspension all around.

It is amazing how we are going back to smaller engines...as mention for future “Tundra will be getting a v-6?

Remember how in the sixties and seventies..it was all about “Big Block engines..and horse power..
Huge motors ..and no matter the size than...there was always plenty of room in the engine bays..

Technology has change the game...will the Today’s Bronco.engine ..be a game changer or a dud?

the point is will Toyota offer more serous options in the future?
    Aloha

There's a reason big blocks are among the most swapped motors. The Broncos is no different than any other run of the mill factory vehicle.
