I saw the Bronco the other day on the road. Looks better in pictures than real life.

I pushed mine for MY2022 because I want the black top and to see what color green Ford will be offering. It's been confirmed the green offering will not be from any current models. I am hoping for Boxwood green.
Driving the Tacoma in the meantime.

    Very nice.

The sport should not have even been part of the Bronco comeback IMO, the sport is a soccer mom suv.

Here is another look next to the Ford Ranger.
    Bronco is gorgeous!

For me it was Bronco versus Tacoma. I could get the Tacoma "now", and I know the Tacoma will last much longer than any Fords so it was a no brainer. Tacoma won! I eventually decided to cancel my Bronco reservation but it looks like it's now a "dealer order", which is odd...I guess I'll have to call them to get my $100 back. After more thought of the Bronco, I think I would rather have a first generation Bronco again, instead of the new one but the prices are crazy so I'll just wait, pay off the Tacoma and buy my 'Vette. Then my garage will be complete: Long lasting pickup truck, American two seat sports car, motorcycle.

They remind me more of the old IH Scout than the 1st gen Bronco. I had a 68 and a 74 Scout back in the day. I ran across this restored 72 a few weeks ago. The guy had recently bought it. Said he cancelled his order for a Bronco when he ran across this. I didn't want to ask how much, but I'm betting a 2021 Bronco would have been less expensive. The engine and transmission are factory, but rebuilt. Everything else is after market or custom fabrication.

That said, I could see me in a Bronco in a few years. Not something I need now.

My 68 was bad-ass. 392 V8 engine, I have no idea how it was geared, but it had a ton of power in a small package. I used to get calls all the time to pull folks out who were stuck. Including one unloaded 18 wheeler. Of course 6-7 mpg was normal

I like the looks of the Scout better than the new Bronco.
Your early Bronco is very cool.
    Thanks for sharing.

My dad had a '72 Scout II, new and even then it was hard to get parts! Back in the '80s when I was looking for a vehicle, I was thinking I wanted a Scout II, but came across a '73 Bronco, and it was mine...I shouldn't have bought that thing but I had a lot of fun in it (and learned how to work on vehicles...out of necessity!).

I love your Scout II Rallye!
