After a long 20 yrs of cringing at my buddy dealing with his Nissan trucks, I and my RC has brought him back into the Toyota club. He has been havin issues with repairs getting bigger and more frequent on his old ride and just was time to come back he said. After much looking he found himself a slightly sunbaked but otherwise well cared for low use 05 AC TRD OR v6 6spd with 85k miles on it for about 9k. Just the top of wheel flares and front bumper have a bit of fading due to sitting out. Already did the tailgate clamp theft thing, added a coupla spare bike mounts I had and dropped a few other parts just sittin around my place on him. Truck modding cut into our bike ride, lol....................

It's really great to have a friend with a shared car fetish. I bought my Tacoma in part because a friend had a 1st gen which was unbelievable and made a big impression on me.

I got into Toyota trucks because of his 82 that he sold me to get a newer one....back in 1985. I drove that one until 2009 when I got my 05 AC Prerunner. He somehow tripped and fell into nissanworld around 1997...much to my chagrin, been givin him crap about since then. But at least they never screwed up on any of our mtb trips and he was the one dealing with them on daily basis so I just sat back and wondered how long he'd be able to handle it. He gave up at an opportune moment and jumped back to the real world and landed a keeper for a really good price. Almost jelly but more just happy he got away from those other things he had.
