Here's how my setup arrived, seat in a big ass box -

    20220218_135334.jpg

Followed by whatever else you ordered in a separate box -

I do believe there's an option for buying the hardware too; I completely missed it so I had to buy some locally. Believe it was M8 I used -

Assembly of the track slider -

    Followed by the base -

I don't recall if instructions were included...it's been awhile. But it's self-explanatory really and you'll have no issues at all.

Old post I know, but you’re saying the 3rd Gen T4R seats sit 3-4” higher than stock Tacoma seats?

Most everything I’ve read says they sit 1” higher at most.

I didn't measure but they seem higher than 1". I am 5'-10" and my head almost touches the headliner.

I currently have Corbeau Baja XRS seats. The seat bolsters are only 11.5" across and were agonizingly painful.
I had an auto upholstery shop remove as much bolster as possible, but I still fidget about all trip.

Your seats look like the Sparco GT's. I've been looking at those as a replacement.

Would you please measure the space between seat bolsters?

There might be a way to adjust them down. It's not terrible. I rarely have to use my sun visors. lol They bolted right down and I only had to modify the one bracket. They are considerably better than the 60/40 that was in there. More adjustment and I am thinking that the extra height is probably from the cushions that are fantastic in comparison. I also extended my shift lever about 6" with a thread on adapter because it was kind of odd reaching down for my shifter after the seat install. The extra height is just something I got used to I suppose. I think I put them in correctly but - who knows :) Maybe it is only 1" or so more. I'd still do it if I was you. I had to switch the seat belt receptacle as well as the ones that were on the 4-runner seats didn't lock in my Tacoma seat belt.

The rearmost part of the seat has a gap of 12.75" between the bolsters

    20230509_194213.jpg

The center part has a gap of 14" between the bolsters

    20230509_194226.jpg

And the bolster at its highest point is approximately 3.56" from the seat bottom

Thanks Xbeaus and Kwikvette. These pictures are a big help.
Is the bolster at the 12.75" gap pretty soft and crush down. My hips measure about 17".
The Baja XRS seat bolsters have metal bars to hold them up. Takes a few times to figure out how to exit the truck without crushing the tenders.
