OOOOPS, on more careful review of this post's photos, I stepped in it (in dogshit) with my hot-take on the 4th gen ARB rear tow points. I didn't look at the photos carefully until just now. I was attempting to compare the 2nd/3rd gen Tacoma rear end w/ the 4th gen.

My mistake trying to disrespect any ARB kit that has bolts included with it as "TRD Pro Swag." . I wonder if they will add these 4th gen rear tow points to their regular catalog & publish a working load limit for them.

It's clear that the 4th gen rear frame has been specifically engineered to be far stronger than 2nd/3rd gen. Look at those fat 3/4" bosses going through both sides of what I assume is a fully-boxed frame, even out at the back end. With mounting bolts in double-shear and 3/4" steel thick tow points those are going to be Pretty Damn Strong. On trucks with a factory receiver hitch installed they're going to be Even Stronger Than That because the receiver hitch bar adds huge stiffness across the back by tying the two frame rails together. I bet they're good for at least 12K lbs per ARB tow point, even for off-angle pulls, but don't hold me to that.

Note, my oversight on the ARB 4th gen tow points does not invalidate my comments about 3rd party crap from no-name brands like NYTOP & many other similar con-artist shops.

The instructions specifically state that the hooks are not compatible with trucks that do not have the welded inserts, unsure if any 2024 Tacomas do not have this. While I know these are sold by Toyota, I did reach out to ARB regarding load rating and whether they plan on making a set for the front.

I did consider the Hitchlink as it is a simple / beefy / centered design, but I run a trailer and thought it would be less hassle to have something permanently installed versus switching back / forth. The ARB rear hooks are an option on the Toyota website when you "build" a vehicle and are installed by default on the Trailhunter / Pro trims.

Reply from ARB. I will contact Toyota as well.

Thank you for contacting us. these parts are made specifically for Toyota and unfortunately we do not maintain any data on them you would need to contact Toyota service for details. as for plans for front hooks I can not say for sure what all we have planned for the Tacoma though I would be surprised if these were not on the plan.

LOL, "we do not maintain any data on them" -- if ever there was a bald-faced lie.

There is no question whatsoever that those parts are exhaustively engineered, FEA-simulated, random-selection proof tested per production batch, etc. They're just respecting Toyota's game not to publish a load rating. A matter of corporate liability & company policy no doubt. If no load rating is published no particular level of force needs to be met/guaranteed. Esp. important over the long term if/as rust damage starts to set in on vehicles in rust-prone settings.
