I don't stick to one brand in particular. I'm guessing that it's better that way. Each brand has its own additives mixed into their gasoline. Each claims that it's cleaner and its burns more efficient than the other. I'm pretty sure one brand leaves a somekind of residue in the valve or where ever if you just use one brand. For this reason, I tend to believe that if you don't stick to one brand, the other brand of gasoline with a different type of additives will somehow clean up the injectors, valves etc that the other gas has left. I could be wrong it's just my theory.

    And I only put 87...

Red diesel. Truck drives like crap, has no power, and can't find a gear. Taking it back and terminating my lease tomorrow.

False. not a actual number. I have seen as high as 99 after pulling out on a downhill after a fill up. You must have have had the phone ready for the very narrow window you stayed at that number. Wish it was true though.

Generally, Top Tier 87 octane from Costco.

I like to get top tier and only use 87, but I won't sweat something else decent.

Casey's 87 octane w/ 10% Ethanol. Was buying BP 87 octane but noticed my truck acted like it wanted to die when I put it in gear.

Reminds me of when I got 6mpg on a cold morning after I started my truck up one day. Too bad it topped out at 11mpg that day :/

I put in 93 Shell, mainly because I hate my money and love wasting it on something that makes zero difference compared to 87

I would agree, but I pretty much get gas at Costco..... mostly convenience and cheaper. But it is top tier.

Yep, pretty much the same here. Costco or QuikTrip are my primaries, Sams when convenient. No concerns about using another known brand if needed when one of the above isn't readily accessible. 87 octane.
