Generations have said that about younger generations since the beginning of time.

Our current “wars” are nothing even close to the real wars our ancestors fought.

The problem thing millennials is there is a lot of great and amazing people we were taught with respect and a good worth ethic. BUT there is a few rotten apples to make the whole bag look rotten and man are those rotten ones rancid! I believe I have a good ethic and outlook. Do I believe I had it harder than previous generations not a chance but I will continue to work as hard as I can and enjoy like as much as possible.

Oh I'm not. War itself has changed only in that we've found newer, better, ways of killing each other. Although, it does seem to be more humane now.

But the ones at home going to Starbucks instead of planting victory gardens? The effect of war now on the general population at home versus the wars if the silent generation are very different. Not to mention the great depression.

Same around my parts. Had a 2nd gen but recently traded it in for a 2019. No comparison. No regrets. :hattip:

Agree with you. And that all started when our country went full voluntary army only. Don’t blame Millenials, they weren’t/aren’t in charge.

I will leave that to the veteran hero’s who gave themselves to respond to that.

Yes, and Millenials are a result, not a cause.

So if there is blame, it is in older generations. Like mine. Not Millenials.

I don't even want to call it blame. Every one of us, from every generation is shaped by our environment. Like trees that grow sturdy in response to the wind, we learn to survive in the world we live in. I find it very hard to assign blame in a system like that. It is just what it is and we have to do our best to work with what we've got.

I love that. Rings of deep wisdom. Maybe if we can become self aware enough along those lines, we don’t only see things for what they really are, and also provides the perception to make positive changes in our life extending to everyone.
