    Stock for now!
Well being deployed I'd have to say the motivating factor is the fact that I can change where I'm at so the best strategy is to do my job and avoid being yelled at other than that I'm looking forward to returning home and having a nice camping trip with the wife and kids and driving my tacoma down every trail I can find. until then I'm protecting your freedom please enjoy it while I can't. I'll join you when I get back so save me a burger and a beer! USN!

The paycheck, being able to take my girl out, supporting my hobbies and enjoying every second of my weekend is what gets me through.

Also - taking mental breaks and lurking on my favorite Toyota and Subaru forums :spy:

    First off great discussion!

Answer to question: Knowing that the day will eventually end so I can go home to my family. Answer 2: Listening to good music, shooting the shit with fellow coworkers, and pointing out how retarded my Boss is to her manager who obviously respects me more.

You know I used to really enjoy my job and get fulfillment from it, but after getting married and having kids my attitude has changed drastically over the years. I’ve grown to hate working period. To me it’s depressing knowing that most of my day, week, shoot life is spent away from the people I love most and enjoy to be around. As for money (nice checks), although it’s needed for survival and enables me to buy material possessions, it doesn’t really satisfy me; make me feel good about spending time away from all things I love and enjoy.

Bottom line is work sucks and most of the time all we do is live to work. I hope to one day eliminate the need to work before I’m too old so I can truly enjoy life the way it’s meant to be enjoyed.

    Things and stuff and such
I usually enjoy my work because I'm good at it. I work with some grumpy old assholes though, so it can be tough to stay in a good mood. What keeps me going is knowing that I do and will help my co-workers produce quality work instead of giving half-assed mixed up instructions and then bitching when it is done incorrectly.

Coming home to play with my girls...

Three daughters - 6 weeks / 2 / 4. The wife choses to stay home, and I'm fortunate enough to facilitate that.

I would lose my mind after one day...

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Just tell her you've been a naughty cat. Lick your wrists and swat at random things above you. Just a little role play, that's all.
