    What were you trying to sell? Making a new post in the B/S/T area will unfortunately not usually grant you the info that you desire. The general forum would be the most appropriate place for that, but realistically you could just check out the for sale area to see what other ___________ has sold for or been on the market for.

    One of the requirements for any FS/FT or feeler thread is photos have to be provided, whether it is a feeler or not. The photo's have to be of the actual item you have and plan to sell, not a stock photo also. For a feeler thread, I don't believe you need a price, but don't quote me, look it up, or as a last resort, ask a mod.

    Question, I have something brand new in box that I am going to sell soon but its just a brown cardboard box (with obviously the item inside). Do I have to open the box and take pictures of a brand new item? I rather not damage the box as it will be used to ship in.

    Open the box carefully, either leave and take a picture of item still wrapped in the box or pull it out and take a picture wrapped outside the box. Return the item to the box and re tape it closed for shipping. So no, no random picture of a closed cardboard box... :D

    I was going to say the same thing. :thumbsup:

    Brand new in box does not mean you can't open it and take pics. It means it's new and not been used. As a buyer I'd want to see pics and get it with the original packing. The pics of the product would be a good indicator the seller received it in good condition.

    Funny , I have never adjusted my offer for something because the box was opened . Just open the box careful or not , take item out take pics stuff it back in box !
    It's new whether box is opened or not !
    The rules of sell on TW are very clearly written and easy to understand !
    I'm not sure why people have so many problems following them !
