If the AALs were indeed shipped in that box, and somehow lost in transit, Wheeler's (or any vendor for that matter) would normally replace the order, then put in a claim with UPS. The shipper is always the one to initiate a claim with a carrier. Unless an item is shipped on the receiver's account, which this obviously was not.

That's not how they roll. They absolutely will NOT replace the order unless they are compensated by UPS FIRST. They didn't even want to file the claim when my coilovers vanished at the local UPS Hub. Wheelers tried to tell me I had to initiate the claim with UPS. Of course UPS said otherwise and that the shipping party needed to start the claim (which could take up to 90 days). Regardless, Wheelers made it very clear to me that if they didn't receive payment from UPS, I was SOL. They approached my call as if I was lying - at least that was the tone of the conversation.

I gave them the middle finger and went straight to my CC company. They initiated their own investigation and credited me back within 24 hours. Fck Wheelers and their crap customer service approach. Dude I talked to was a complete azzhat.

Reasonable companies who want to keep customers will do as I stated. Apparently Wheelers no longer cares. Sorry you had to go through that. Sounds like going through the cc company would be best in this instance.

What a bummer, they used to be great. Hell they even shipped an AAL box for me at no charge because they were backordered. (Few years ago now)
That's a helluva 180. Hate to see it happen.

Haven't been stoked with Wheelers lately either. Happened to order a few things and stopped by the Fresno CA warehouse to pick it up and it was a shit-show. Waited over an hour at the will call window and there was no line.

This is why you purchase with a credit card. Lodge a dispute with your card company and don't reward the shipper with a payment for non-performance.
