    WTF happened to this thread?

OP, I see guys like you pretty regularly, thinking and sometimes telling people they are the smartest person in the room. They all slip at some point, which gives a regular guy like me the opportunity to boot them right out the door.

When you do get banned, it won't be for some "unspecified" reason, it will be because you insulted people, and got strangely hostile when people reacted to your "ruse."

Looking back, I'm blown away by what I've apparently become. I sincerely apologize to you fine people, for my atrocious behavior that is WAY outside my normal character. It's absolutely inexcusable, but I can try to explain that I've been under tons of stress lately (and yes, it involves the Tacoma owner I mentioned).

I'm sure it has already been done by most of you, but I ask that the rest please write it off as silly banter from an idiot with a disturbed mind. I'm very sorry, and I sincerely mean it.

Mods: thank you for leaving me the opportunity to make this apology, otherwise I'd likely feel even more terrible for it. I'm kicking myself as it is, but I definitely feel better that I can *try* to make amends.

Take care, good folks. I hope to come back someday, and hopefully contribute something positive to such a deserving community. I send endless thanks for the wealth of knowledge I've already gotten, which is only possible with such selfless contributions that you all know of.

Thanks again, good folks, and please be well.

I lost my mother when I was 19; and, looking back, it slowly set me spinning straight into the dirt over a period of about 3 years; until, ultimately, as a homeless man, I was puking in some random gutter, 3,000 miles away from everyone and everything I knew

I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother

Not calling you out, but did I miss where the OP said his mother died? I can't find it, but then again this thread is whack. Condolences on your particularly painful loss flatblack.

^It's not like I can can get a mulligan, so my shame shall pervade for quite some time, unfortunately for me. Therefore, I'm left with utter wonder at how you guys managed to set aside the sensible response, which simply tells me to go eat a huge pile of $hit, OR 7. Instead, you guys reacted inappropriately, kinda like how I would say, "aww, that's kinda unfortunate. Oh well," when my entire family was in Hiroshima or Nagasaki in 1945. Your replies were inappropriate, without question, but to MY benefit. So, I don't really know what to say, besides thanks? But please read on if you think that a meaningful apology is possible?

TOTAL redemption is utterly impossible, no matter what, but may I ask that you please give me a chance to make some kind of positive gesture? By that, I mean that I'm hoping you'll accept something tangible, not just my silly words, since we all know that such "apologies" can mean nothing, or worse, they could have malicious intent.

So, I'm offering something tangible to corroborate my apology, if you'd kindly accept. Specifically, I have tons of 14 mm OEM gaskets (for your sump). Not the "plain" black ones, but rather, the blue ones w/ a friction modifier or w/e. I also have gaskets for the diff, tranny, or whatever else that takes the 24 mm (I think, but maybe 22 mm?) crush washer. If you aren't sure the size, just look up the gaskets for IS300 and/or LX470, which got replaced with the ones I hold. And I reiterate, they are definitely OEM, with part numbers in sealed plastic enclosing the proper quantities (I think qty: 10 for the 24 mm, and blahblah, I don't remember TBH).

Before I bought them (like 50 years ago or w/e), I was blown away at how preposterously expensive they were. But if you prefer OEM parts like I do, you'd tell me to STFU and get a Kia if didn't like it. Even then, OEM is never cheap. I only got them because in bulk, at a certain online source, they were actually cheap. More accurately, they were too cheap to pass up, IMO, so I got like $100 worth. Unfortunately, that quantity I will NEVER have a shot at actually using, especially now that I won't ever again mess with the 08' Tacoma y'all heard about, nor the 02' LX470. I've only been able to give away 20 of each to every single one of my friends, which sadly means that I gave away zero :(. Pathetic, I know, but true.

But who cares whether they are legit or not, anyway? I'm offering them FREE. I only ask for a nominal "processing" deposit, amounting to the low low meager sum of just $80, which is to be sent via Western Union or MoneyGram, but I'll accept cash too. I promise it will be refunded 100%, but I will pay shipping, handling, packaging, labor, etc., etc. So, you obviously have no reason to doubt it, right? What a fantastic deal! But ACT FAST, because I'm doing this on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. Seriously, DON'T DELAY!!! HURRY!!! DO NOT compromise your spot in line, for such a fabulous DEAL!!!

I can't find the original packaging for the 14 mm, but the 24 mm (again, I think), say: 12157-10010. I've used them myself (for my car that calls for 24 mm, both drain and fill, for both diff. and tranny (5 spd MT), but I can't promise the exact size.

To be fair on this, I'll send 2 x 14 mm, and 2 x 24 mm, to the first 10 people who reply. However, I won't set a firm limit, and may go ahead and send to 20 people.

*****Keep in mind there are bigger "prizes," but I'll only list current ones:

First Prize: AFE drop in washable air filter, obviously used, but only once for ~7-8k miles, and currently clean (please see my post history, to see the group buy that references exactly which one I have, but I think it fits all 2nd gen Tacomas.

Second: 2x Puralotor L20195 (NOT Pure One PL20195, just the regulars). These are oversize, compared to manufacturer recommended Purolator 10241, but definitely will fit as long as space isn't too tight. I use oversize on just about every Toyota/Lexus myself, but don't quote me.

Third: I guess the gaskets I mentioned earlier?

Fourth: I hope to find it, but I haven't, just yet.

Stress is putting me way out of it right now, so new prizes may very well materialize. That is, just about everything I own that is compatible with Tacoma (2nd Gen, at least) is up for grabs, especially when selling them is pretty much a waste of time (besides the AFE air filter, worth a good $30 or so, perhaps). I have tons more not listed (yet), that is compatible with my IS300 I just sold yesterday, but I hesitate to give it away to people who cant even use it. But PLEASE, correct me since I know I must be wrong.

I only need your address, so what are you waiting for?!.

BTW, I don't recall explaining yet that the whole "processing fee" was a joke. Just another dick move I can't seem to avoid. Sorry about that, and I realize it's quite possible that everyone will stop reading as soon as they see it. I'm such a dick, no question.

Mods: WRT the AFE air filter, please tell me who you decided I should send it to, so long as it's not you , LOL. ;-) I'm happy to hook up someone worthy, and I'll simply rely on your judgment on this. Please take care, and hank you for running (for free)this forum that so many of us genuinely appreciate. To everyone else, I truly say TC, all of you. And I can never say anything less than bravo, for how wonderfully you keep order in an often tough environment.

Please give welcome when I come back?

Thanks Folks, please be well. Hasta Luego!

It was hardly visible, so I'm surprised flatback even caught it:

Me: "I don't think it hurts to mention that my mom died last year, and that a few grand worth of my property..."

She was just 59 and in excellent health, but died after a good 6-8 months of suffocating slowly. Just think: months in a partial gas chamber (the HCN used in executions). It literally traumatized me to see her suffer so long, especially when it was MY fault her lungs were turned into worthless, hardened scar tissue. She reminded me of it numerous times, and her newest doctor (a pulmonologist) confirmed it, that the damage resulted from radiation, a treatment she adamantly wanted to forgo, but elected to to take it PURELY because I advised her to do so, no exaggeration whatsoever. This guilt will never go away, I think, but I'm certainly trying.

In any event, that definitely has been, and still VERY MUCH is, incredibly hard for me. And if it makes me a little bitch, then that's exactly what I am. Medications, groups, and 1 on 1 therapy hasn't helped YET, but I'm hopeful that it will at some point.

I guess this revelation helps explain to you guys where my outburst originated, not that it excuses it in any way. I'm honestly very sorry, I'm not usually such a dick like that.

Anyway, a certain dickhead constantly infuriates me, but he has never once seen this anger, which I tend to unleash on good people like you instead. I'm very, very ashamed of it, sorry guys.

He was a total dick the 10 months leading up to it, where I was all she had, but I'm VERY grateful to have had the privilege. But when the Dr. informed us she won't leave the hospital, he suddenly decided that he "cared."

After she died, he simply made ever so gradual steps back to his original position, for the reason (I believe, at least) that he wanted to see if his estate was at risk (about $1.5M in equity). And when he found out that it was safe, he began an onslaught, slandering me and my siblings outright, to all our relatives. It's not speculation, I saw it clearly, and was even told explicitly by several relatives that they disapproved of me, at my grandma's funeral not long ago.

If you wonder the motivation, it's simply money. Everyone heard my mom's wishes that I get a piece of her estate (though none of my siblings), and several people even heard dickhead's "promise" that I definitely would. Not once, but at least a half dozen times at her deathbed (over 10 days), not to mention countless times before. And it was for good reason, not just her "preference" or some crap. I put in TONS of money and work my whole life, while anyone else who did the same were ALWAYS paid. I was NEVER, EVER paid, EVER, even for parts/materials.

So, when this dickhead wants to keep all 1.5M to himself, it doesn't really bother me too much. The money is not all that important, even though I had absolute power when she was alive, to make sure that funds were legally set to be distributed as she wished. Instead, we both put our trust in this piece of cr@p.

What DOES bother me is how he relentlessly slanders me, and all my relatives eat it up! When I see them, I can clearly see they suddenly look down on me! It doesn't stop there either. Lifelong friends (just 2 actually) knew me from birth, and he DEFINITELY convinced them too! These people loved me, but now, they might as well hate me. THAT is what bothers me most.

Wow, I totally got out of line again. I'm really sorry guys, and thanks again for tolerating me. It's clear I have problems, which I have no business bringing to innocents here. I'm not sure why, but doing so gives me a sense of temporary relief. Looking back, I'm basically using you guys for personal therapy, but that is totally unacceptable, in my book.

I'm really trying to make good, so please take me up on my offer in my earlier post(s)? That is, if you want any of the items I listed, which I have absolutely no use for anymore. I loved my Lexus for 11 years, but it's sold now, and I must instead love my bicycle. I simply have no good reason to hang on to so many parts and lubes, so please claim them if you'd like.

Thanks so much for bearing with me.

    Ron

^Mods, please send me the address of the winner of the AFE drop in air filter? Or, just give me an address (or PO Box) that you have access to? Then, you can distribute as you see fit.

Everyone else, I'll send the Purolator L20195 (oversize oil filter) to anyone who asks via PM, that is, unless a mod tells me not to.

Anyone who wants the gaskets I offered, I ask that you please verify they are useful for your current ride (I'd hate if they got $hitcanned), and send me an address (or alternate address, PO Box, Ex-Gf's house, neighbor you hate's address, or whatever you want. Tell me to send to the Pentagon or White Horse, and I probably would.

Wait a minute, what the FUK is "white horse" says Harry Stamper (with a HOT daughter called Liv, or some $hit. Please join be in despising the weirdo looking loser, called "AJ" I think? Help me kick his ass all over street? Thanks fellas, TTYL, and TC.

Somebody fucking report this guy to law enforcement before he shoots up a college or a movie theater.

Look, just about my entire family has died and that doesn't give me rights to be a whackjob. Get over it.

What's crazy is that the OP agrees (me). Dunno why, but I can't seem to correct it. And he is so deeply in denial, it would be fruitless to even try. :/
