Like the title says wanting to see what you guys have built and fabricated for your Trucks. Much the same as the what have you done thread but this one should show TW each of your personal touches. I much prefer the built not bought truck modifications so you guys post up. All Toyota generations welcome. (Hilux, pickup and Tacoma)

EDIT: I am a fabricator and a mechanic. I build various mechanical things for a living for the mining and energy industry. My skills provide for my family and if you are in the reaches of the power grid that I work on they provide for yours too weather you realize it or not. Off-roading and building my own parts my own way are my passions. If you don't care for my terminology so be it. My goal with this thread was to highlight the members here at TW and their skills and creativity.

So you want me to go out and buy 200k worth of tooling and machinery to cast or forge my own wheels, spend the rest of my life trying to figure out how to R&D engine internals, fabricate custom tube chassis etc?

We should start with the plywood dog beds first.

Still doesn't make his "built not bought" comment anymore silly than it is.

IMG_2985.jpg I have built just about all the mods on my truck with the exception of the roof rack which is a Prinsu and I saw no use in messing with perfection.

Couldn't find a bed rack that fit my criteria so I built this one for my truck.IMG_2928.jpg

My front grille was also of my own labor. Like many of you guys I wasn't much on the cheese grater so it was a mod that had to be done.IMG_2938.jpg

My sliders fell in to the category with the bed rack. I looked at all the various sliders on the market but found all of them to be lacking in one way or another from my experience. IMG_2982.jpg

    Very well done

And like most Texans I know you have amazing talent. Most of Ca people don't have those skills and are all parts catalog orders

If you think the OP's thread to see people's creativity is silly, no need to post in it. Plenty of other threads for you to read.

sorry for not liking a specific phrase that is often overused and incorrect in its context. Plenty of other threads for you to create and use the correct verbage.

I don't give a shit whether you like it or not. No need to apologize to me. I just find it curious why you feel the need to jump in and shit on the OP's thread right off the bat.

If you cannot appreciate the pride of others in their endeavors to make their trucks the way that they want them. Utilizing their own creativity a skill I cannot help you. As for me I am game to see all the dog platforms and license plate brackets and things of that nature. I know that in the mix of all of that there will be things that will shine and we can give credit where it is due.

I prefer to harass @scocar personally.

On a serious note, your posts may be perceived as dick headish. Food for thought.
