Blackout badging, tailgate letters and a mesh screen behind the grill - so far. I’ve also had xpel ppf put on the front (hood, grill, a pillars, backs of side mirrors) but I didn’t do that myself.

Is it wrong to love a truck?

Will do, so far loving the Retrax, the ability to lock it at any point along the rail is great. Still looking into adjustable racks but am going to get a cab rack beforehand.

Installed a crossover toolbox - UWS EC10312 63-Inch Gloss Black Heavy-Wall Aluminum Slim Truck Tool Box with Low Profile, RigidCore Lid. Perfect bed length size (12.75") to still load mountain bikes on a tailgate pad considering I have a DCSB. Used for bike tools and MTB gear.

What % tint are you running on your front windows? I'm thinking about getting mine done, but don't want them too dark since I'm in CA like you. Looks really good.

Closer to $3,265 with the rim price included... :anonymous:

Learning I reeeeally overpaid here. Especially for the quality. Super frustrating.

    You
Got extremely ripped off all the way around. Center caps should be included with wheel price not separately, for that price you should have gotten that blacker than black paint that cost like $100 a ounce.

They're 35%, ceramic. They look darker because of the white vehicle. I'm happy with how it looks, and it cuts down on the heat so much! I haven't been harassed yet (fingers crossed).

If it were me, I'd have bought these Evo Corse racing wheels, and called it a day. :D

Also, bummer about waiting until September for the OMEBP51's. :annoyed: You might consider the Dobinsons MRA's if it's not too late. They're a nice shock too. :notsure: GL!

The reason I was asking about morning is that I would be interested, but I already have obligations in the afternoon that day.

As with any paint job, proper preparation is key. Media blast with sand (aluminum oxide) was not done correctly (or thoroughly) as this method would rip that bronze coating off with minimal dwell time. And this is only part of the prep.

If that is the wheel's original bronze coating then you did not get what you paid for. It may be they have 100% coverage on the outside of the wheel and skimped on the inside, but for the price you paid I would be livid and pursue whatever avenue available to force them to correct their poor quality. You won't know if they properly prepped the outside correctly until you start losing paint.

They could redo the entire process again (correctly) and still make money.

I don't understand the second (clear) coat over the color. Why is a clear needed? No UV protectant in that special color? Or did they claim that was needed for the satin sheen? Powder coat is available in satin, so...

That really sucks, good luck on the insurance. We had hail here in North Ga on Saturday but it was only between a quarter and golf ball sizes. My truck is normally outside but out of luck my wife was out of town and I was greasing my zerks in the garage. I noticed it immediately when the first couple hit the drive and then saw a clueless family strolling down the street in our neighborhood pushing a baby carriage. I yelled for them to quickly get into my garage. They started getting hit, luckily the stroller was covered, on their way but the heavy hail didn't start coming down until after they were safely under cover. It's only happened a few times in the nearly 15 years I've lived in this area and neither time were they significant in size.

So I was swapping out my chrome lug nuts for black lug nuts one by one in the rain last night when I thought to myself... have I lost my mind? Regardless I think the wheels look pretty good with the black lugs and TRD center caps.
