Okay, how did you tap into the headlight DRLs? I'm trying to do this with my Rough Country light bar.

It's not tapped into the headlights at all. I made a breakout harness for the hazard light switch in the truck -- it's connector A33 that runs the HVAC controls. I ran the hazard light pin from that connector to the relay trigger wire on the backlight circuit switch. I used a diode to prevent back-activation (else the hazards would turn on when you use the backlight switch). At the switch there's an output wire that runs from the switch to the relay. This way you have 2 triggers for the backlight relay: switch and hazard light. No vampire clips :puke:

If you want to tap into the DRLs you can make a breakout harness for the DRL connector at the back of the headlight. It has DRL, PARK, and (-) if I remember right.

ah okay. I reread your post and misunderstood. Thanks for the tip on the DRL. I'll check it out in the AM and see what I can do.

I’m posting this everywhere I like them so much. I pulled my 2021 TRD Pro rims and tires with 900 miles off and put on these bad bay 285/75r16’s

Tonneau hard cover, mud guards, yellow fog light tint, redline hood lift kit, remote tailgate lock, bed lights, window tint, invisible bra, TRD wheel cap decals, tailgate letters, blackout badge kit, LED cab lighting kit, bed hooks, red caliper paint.
I just traded my 2014 regular cab for a 2021 TRD Sport double cab and the mods have already started. I pulled the LED fog lights and added the LAMIN-X yellow to them. Also mud guards installed. More mods to come.

None YET. Have not pushed it. Have done full turns with wheel locked and no noise, it does look like a small piece off the back of the flare may need to be snipped. We will see. It has a 3/2 level kit for now.

Where do you get these with amber lenses? Or are they clear with film?

Headlights are on with a ditch light lens switc to amber combo beam.

also stopped by @runnin4tacos to switch tune profiles to the 91 octane performance tune.

    Initial impressions:
    1. like the standard 85 octane tune, this one feels seamless yet more go.
    2. I’m averaging 15mpg with full accessory weight (suspension, wheels/tires, racks, RTT, accessories, and a bike rack on the hitch).
    3. The biggest thing I like is that it is definitely better in the mountains. Upshifts quick to pick up speed then downshifts quick to maintain it.
    4. With the OEM tune, the truck was always searching for gears and would struggle to get out of third or would shift to fourth but immediately lose oomph and drop back into third while simultaneously letting every passenger know with a noticeable jerk.
    5. With the 85 standard tune, MPGs went up by 2 and it was better performing in the mountains for sure but could barely get above 65mph on the steeper inclines and couldn’t pull away.
    6. With the 91 performance tune, everything is improved. Truck pulls away on the inclines and acceleration/shifting is more responsive and smoother. MPG improvement has only been 1 over stock (minus one versus 85 tune). But then again, I have been driving it a bit more aggressively to get it up over those passes. Also, the fuel cost for 91 octane is considerable.
Overall the 91 tune is best for me in the mountains. I think I’ll keep it for awhile to really get used to it. Will also consider new gears. No matter what tune profile I have on there, 6th is pretty much worthless as I assume you have to going 90+ I order to shift into it.

Here in Minnesota I pay $400 for my tabs, every year. But it does go down gradually as the vehicle loses value, my wife's Mazda 3 is down to $300/year and it's 3 years old.

Had the fuel pump replaced via recall. Gives me some more confidence being off grid.
