Installed my $155 (shipped) tri-fold bed cover from eBay. It's not the sleekest looking cover on the market, but the quality was much better than expected. It has 4 small brackets that slide into the tie down rail, and the cover just clamps down onto that.

I plan on installing the cover a couple times a year for extra storage space when we go on trips, and leaving it off the other ~350 days per year. I should be able to install it and remove it in less than 5 minutes, which is exactly what I wanted. If it lasts a year or two I'll be satisfied, and maybe at that point I'll invest in a soft topper.

How's the ride quality with those? I've been thinking about doing the same. Your truck looks great man, congrats

Just a suggestion. I added some foam pipe wrap around the supports. This keep water from pooling in the middle as well as reduce the wearing effect of the vinyl flapping against the support brackets at highway speeds.

@GrilledCheese. Yes, I sense your frustration. The installation of my ARB recovery point fought me all the way. I ended up not having to use the "fucking nut on a stick", as my aftermarket steel bumper bracket mounted throughout the same frame hole. I ended up using a 5/8" X 4 1/2" bolt with nut and washers to secure the recovery point and bumper bracket to the frame. Much easier. I can send you the nut on the stick, I'll never use it. Just PM me.

I think it also depends on the color of the vehicle. Some colors look better with some chrome. I have a black one, and like the contrast.

Thanks Bud. A buddy of mine described them as luscious...lol. I'm really happy with it. Hoping to go for another ride today if the weather cooperates.

Maybe later. I am out of those and may make more mid-summer. Not much demand for them.

Got rid of my front grill light bar this weekend, and reinstalled the funneling trim things behind the grill. I got the light bar thinking I would use it much more than I actually do, but after 2 years, I have only used it 1 time, so time to go.

Im getting a slim front bumper, but I probably wont be putting a light bar into it.
