I have a Free Spirit. I mounted it on CBI Overland Bed bars. Just the right height and very light

 

I like the overland bar look, but I have a soft top I want to keep on for the dogs and gear. Also I figure putting the tent over the cab will spread the weight out between the axles a little better. With a loaded Decked box and gear its already a little heavy in the rear.

 

Understood. I remove my tent when it’s not being used. I put a chain hoist in the garage so I can take it on/off myself. I think you will really like the tent. I love mine. Camp right by the river when I’m fishing..in the forrest when hunting. I’m been in several severe rain storms and stayed nice and dry

 

Ironman 4x4 leaf pack upgrade. Really impressed with the kit. Stock pack in comparison pic includes an AAL. New kit is the performance load TOYO66BK (0-440#) and they make a stiffer set for 440#+

Got the bushing from ECGS installed and went to some hills to climb. The vibration and "feel" of the needle bearing was getting very concerning... I'm so glad it's done now!

 

Yeah I have some Yellow Coated Hella brand bulbs haha. Guess I've never noticed the bulbs reflecting yellow in the housing until this photo

 

Ah nice. How they look at night? Makes me consider a yellow but clear bulb for snow and rain.

 

I'm sure you could re-sell the extras on here. I've still got the factory plastic chrome grille, rear bumper caps, and chrome tailgate emblems. I actually don't mind them.

Is there not a local nut and bolt bulk store in your area? I have a local where I buy all my exterior bolt replacement with SS since everything rust here in Ontario.

 

There's enough Tacomas on the Big Island. Buy the 50 pack and every time you pass one, thrown 4 of them at them. They'll be gone in no time!

 

The Home Depot I have been to does carry some nuts and bolts in bulk.

 

Finally picked mine up at the dealership after an almost 3 month wait! So far, so good. About to head back home so I spent 45 min in a parking lot with scotch tape masking off the front bumper to keep it pristine until my clear bra appt this Friday.

Oh yeah, I wasted no time picking up the 2021 4Runner TRD Pro 17" wheels all of 30 min after I got the truck. They’ll be wrapped in Michelin 265/70/17 LTX A/T2s on Wednesday.

 

Waited till I drove from Socal to AZ today to remove the SX decals (they peeled right off) + installed Seat Jackers for the 6hr drive. It really helped!

 

Hand wash and wax for the first time this year.
