As far as I know almost everywhere except that stretch on the Galveston Sea wall. I really don't know about the area around Corpus Christy. My friend went to Padre Island in his Silverado 2wd got stuck and it cost him $200 to get pulled out. Some guy pulls people out with his John Deer tractor. There signs that says 4wd only.

Here is a map of the Galveston area: GALVESTON.COM: RV Parks & Camping - Galveston, TX

On the Qi charger, I’m just curious are the only people with bubbles those that actually regularly used it? I tried it once and was disappointed and switched to wired and mine is perfect. Just wondering if it is an inherent design flaw.

Finally added the TRD skidplate. Was super easy to install once I acquired some ramps.

    Nothing yet

I did that one last week. I was surprised at how thick the aluminum was. No way its steel, i have ateel skids on my other truck and they are way heavier than this. Howevwr i wont worry about bashing a rock with this skid plate. Wish all of them were like this. Especially the plastic lunch tray they put under the gas tank.

Here's a decent video comparing a bunch of different exhausts: https://youtu.be/qzESQ3Zj4iI

Kind of surprisingly there is no TRD Pro in the mix there...

There is a TSB out to fix it if your dealer has it in stock and you are within the 36/36000 warranty. Some people on here have taken it apart and just glued the rubber back down.

Mine has bubbled and I have never used mine or even turned it on.

It’s a known design flaw. I rarely use mine but still got a bubble. It took 4 months and multiple calls to toyota for my dealer to get the parts to fix it, but I still haven’t scheduled it yet.

Go for it. We've got a TRDOR 4runner as well as the TRDOR Tacoma. I kinda like the 4runner better. :anonymous:

Got the fuel pump recall done today - 2 hours start to finish - pleasantly surprised! Like others have mentioned - the lot looked anemic - only one Tacoma and two Tundras. Now planning my tuning…

Hello TacomaWorld - just joined, and am on my third Tacoma (one of each gen) and figured this is a good thread to share.

I installed the Waterport 8gal tank yesterday and am LOVING IT. I live in Texas and it’s hot as fuck - having this bad boy on the bed rack to wet your hair after a friendly baseball game made this thing immediately worth it. Hopefully the pictures show up, I haven’t been in a message board since tumyeto skateboarding back in the days before blogs.

I’ll try to include some general photos as well!

That’s nuts that you’ve never used it and it bubbled. Does it affect all 3rd gens? And do they bitch about fixing it?

No if they all did it, it might actually be a recall instead of just a TSB. I tried to have them do it when I had the fuel pump recall done but they didn't have the part. That was a few months ago and I have not heard anything from them. I have not called to see if they ever actually got the part in though. I figured I would try again at my last Toyota care service in a few months.

Re-ran the air line for the remote chucks. Now you can't see the main line in the bed.

Do you get repeatable groups with the bipod angled that way? Seems like it'll prevent the rifle from recoiling backwards in a consistent direction.

Bought two Element P/N 60100 fire extinguisher brackets, JB Welded them to the rail cap, and touched up with a black paint pen:

Plagiarized @Snail81's idea and made a depth checking pole from a Dollarama P/N 22-3055594 heavy duty broomstick. Put two duct tape bands on it, 1st band at the door seal level, 2nd band at the intake level. (With the lift and tires, the 2nd mark is just below my chest height.) Used Power Phase P/N 58656 4/0 AWG heat shrink to bump up the diameter for a tight fit in the brackets:

    Clears the folding tonneau:

i ditched the prop rod and added some hella supertones because they taunted me from the perpetual projects shelf.

also cleaned up the oil spill that the dealer called 'engine shine' under the hood a little...
