Picking up food and saw about 10 Tacoma in the plaza. Two of them got my attention.

 

Took off the RTT and waterport, used it for truck stuff! Put these racks through their paces, couldn’t be happier. Balanced most of the weight on the Leitner but the Prinsu had plenty on it also. These things killed it. The Deavers handled the weight without even sweating. Awesome to be able to carry 20’ lumber

 

Replaced front stock brake pads and poor quality rotors

 

so you got about $4000 worth of wood on that thing

Anyone have any thoughts or insight from their own installs of these lights that could help me understand why im not getting DRL on first click and how to adjust beam angle?

 

They turn on when you release the hand brake

 

hand break is not engaged when im testing first click for DRL. there is straight up a whole clip in each side of the factory harness that isnt used in these lights.

 

I bet it has to do where your getting your power from. There are You Tube videos that explain that. If you did an Add a Fuse, you may need to change which fuse you use. If you spliced into the headlight light wire that may be the reason. I can't remember the exact answer but I think it's where your getting your power.

 

AlphaRex NOVA headlights are plug and play. they use existing plugs in your stock headlight harness. I just happen to have one left over that is unused.

 

Bit the bullet and bought a Pro grille, was very concerned it would screw up the camera angle but interestingly I don't really notice a difference. Really like the look it provides, even if they are a fairly common mod. Also put my new vanity plates on, most people probably won't understand the meaning but then again, crypto is becoming much more popular every day
