Eliminated the rub from my new 285/70/17 KO2's on stock suspension and wheels with +12 offset.
    Removed the air dam
    IMG_0524.jpg
    Removed front mud flaps
    IMG_0525.jpg

Did a little trimming of the front bumper cover and relocated the fender liner bolt forward a bit.

Our trucks are almost twins. I've been leaning toward getting M/T's. Was torn between sticking with Nitto and switching to Trail Grappler M/T but was torn between those and the Toyo Open Country M/T. Now I need to add Yokohama to the list. Anyone out here have a solid preference?

    Great, one more tire.

A good write up on them there https://****************/2021/04/02/cooper-stt-pro-vs-cooper-evolution-mt/

I live in North Georgia where wet clay is prominent and extremely slick. I wonder if that would be more synonymous to ice/snow and in that case the Evo M/T might be better.

I'll have to post this over in the GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread as well.

The sport comes with 265/65-17 tires. That’s what I ended up getting in a KO2. I wish I would have gotten 265/70-17 instead. Oh well. These have a few miles left on them then I’ll go 275/70-17 I think. Good luck!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I ran 70's before my lift, and put 1.25" spacers on. I loved the look, they cleared the UCA (without the spacer), only rubbed at full compression / lock in a turn, and looked pretty good.

    Pre-lift wit spacers.

Formerly from MI, where clay and ice coexist, they can be equally treacherous. I don't miss either of them.

Installed these that were purchased on Prime day, such an easy install it felt like taking candy from a baby. Huge improvement over not having any lights in the bed

Apparently the dealer added 10 pounds when they replaced the fuel pump and flashed the ECU to the latest tune.
I wonder if I can get a new sticker that subtracts for the air dam I took off after the "mods" they did?

Edit: I wonder if I can justify a re-gear to the wife now?

Buy a "virgin"/new credit card key to program yourself. Only a dealer can program a used key.
    FCC ID: HYQ14CBB
    Model 1551A-14CBB
Paid $250 on ebay from unlimitedpro13.
Steps: [Mod] Smart Card Key (Credit Card style key) for GX460 / FOB Programming - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion or Techstream Key Fob Programming – Step by Step with pics | PriusChat
    Takes 5 minutes

    Steps:
    1. You need both an existing key and the new key.
    2. Turn vehicle to ACC ON (2 button presses on the Push to Start)
    3. Hook up USB to OBD
    4. Start Techstream
    5. Connect to the vehicle
    6. Select the Year, Model, etc.
    7. Wait for it to load/connect to vehicle……
    8. It’ll bring you to the “System Selection Menu” and double click the cell for "Smart Key"
    9. Find “Smart Access” and double click
    10. Click the “Utility” button (left hand side).
    11. Double click the cell for “Smart Code Registration”.
    12. Put both of your keys outside of your car 1ft away.
    13. You need to checkmark all the boxes and click next.
    14. Click "Start". The next screen with a 30 second timer.
    15. Bring your original key into the car and hold to the start button until it beeps.
    16. Put the original key outside.
    17. Bring in your new key into the car and hold to the start button until it beeps.
    18. That is it, competed. You can turn off techstream and test your key.

You can buy a Toyota Techstream cable on ebay for less than $50, it will come with software. Make sure it says it works with windows 10.

With techstream you can also edit other features.
You can set it so unlocking with the touch handle unlocks all 4 doors. You can set the timers for all the automatic interior and headlights. You can turn off seatbelt chimes.

The pods were decent but I wanted a change in lighting focus. CaliRaised is a decent option on the lower end of cost. I had some moisture issues with the amber pods but to their credit they replaced them and let me keep the old ones which I later fixed. However I have since moved on to ExtremeLED, Diode Dynamics, Baja Designs and KC. My 30in light bar from CaliRaised is still going strong though.
