On my 2018 I did Pop & Lock and it was okay. My new truck I bought OEM online and it was a world of difference. The plug & play is the ticket and IMHO the OEM is a lot better quality. I'm not bashing P & L, just applauding OEM.

Do you guys with oem roof racks have gaps like this? Just wondering if it's normal or if theres something can do to have it all perfectly flush.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
It should be flush. There is a clip up front (near that yellow spot in the pic) that a screw goes into. It may be loose or missing. Mine was gone when I put my after market on. Warranty? Have the dealer look at it.

    Yep
I bought my 3rd gen a few years old from my buddy who had upgraded the suspension and put in a "leveling" kit. Unfortunately, I think I tend to keep more of a load on the bed than he did, so it caused the back end to sag a bit.

I took out the one inch blocks in the back and put in two inch blocks. It looks great and rides great. I can actually see a little better as the nose is not up now.

How are you liking that SkyCamp Mini? I've been seriously considering getting one to put on the cab of my truck, and storing other items on the rack on my bed cap. Just trying to see if the price can be justified.

Added 5" oval nerf bars so my dad could get in and out easier. He loves them and I think they look great. Really had a tough fit with rust on one of the bolt threads. Should have been 30 minutes but instead it was 3 hrs of back and forth to get the right screw tap and clean up the threads and an extractor to remove the broken bolt. It's never as easy as it should be.

thanks. btw the Loncky comment was because your photo seems to show the back end of a self stitch-on leather cover, here:

Loncky makes those, i did one myself just with red stitching etc. but maybe i was wrong. anyway thanks for the reply :)

Finally installed a mobil dual band radio that can transmit APRS with higher power than my Kenwood HT could for backcountry use. It’s a Yaesu FTM-300DR. I will probably use my HT with a Mobilinkd TNC3 and iPad for APRS mapping and tracking stuff.

New wheels and tires. Method 316 0 offset with 285/70r17 Cooper Rugged Trek. For those that are interested: ~2.5" lift, stock UCAs, no CMC, no rubbing at all. Did some flex testing and the only place I *may* rub is in the front of the wheel well when fully stuffed and turned slightly (may touch the plastic).

Put in some bed lights. Pretty easy install other than the part where I had to take the switch panel off and put the switch in. I have a 21' SR with the utility package. I spent a couple weeks on here reading threads about bed lights and watching YouTube videos on the install process. I ordered my light kit, the switch, and a relay from Bam Wholesale. I got everything from them for around $150. I did basic ground delivery and received it in 2 days. For anyone who has at least the SR utility package model, you do not need the relay. The relay and fuse are in there for you already, including all of the wiring. Pretty nice of Toyota. Other than installing the switch up front, it's pretty much "plug n play". So far, so good!

How did you get the switch panel out? I started trying to pull mine out the other day and finally gave up.

Nice dude. Looks great. Got to get out and test them on some trails. How do you like it compared to your previous tires?
